Commanding your AI wing in Dominion Earth by chat or voice
In an AI sector the bots on your side are yours. You order them in plain language — typed into the comms panel or spoken aloud — and the grammar is deliberately forgiving, because a command language that accepts one phrasing is one nobody uses twice.
Say it however it comes out
Address them first, with all, wing, squad, everyone
or a wingmate's callsign. Anything else you type is just talk — the wing does not act on
conversation about the enemy.
| What you say | What happens |
|---|---|
| all attack the base | Strike run on the nearest enemy starbase |
| all kill the base / hit that station / bomb it | All the same order |
| wing on me | They escort you and shoot what threatens you |
| everyone break off | Disengage and go home |
| VANCE defend the planet | One named wingmate |
Name a place
The SECTOR panel over your radar shows where you are as three numbers. That is a place you can name in an order:
all attack the satellite in 3,3,0
everyone meet at 5,2
wing move to grid 4 6
The map wraps, so a wing sent across the seam takes the short way round rather than crossing the whole map.
Split the flight
This is what makes a wing feel like a squadron rather than a pack — two jobs at once is the point of having five ships.
half attack the ships, half attack the planet
two of you defend, the rest attack the base
VANCE escort me, REYES take out the satellites
Every part gets at least one ship, so a small flight still does both halves of what you asked.
Chain two steps
Some jobs are useless as a single order because the useful half is the second one:
all get warriors from Earth and return
They fetch, then come back, without another command.
Speaking it
Turn on voice orders in the audio settings, hold the order key and say it. What was heard appears on screen before it is sent — recognition is wrong often enough that a wing quietly leaving for the wrong coordinate would be worse than no feature — and the wing reads its understanding back to you.

What an order cannot do
An order changes what your wing chooses to do — nothing more. It cannot make them shoot straighter, turn faster or take less damage, and a wingmate close to death still goes home for repairs rather than dying where you pointed. Commanding your wing is not a damage buff, and if it were, the feature would be a way to win by typing.
When the job is done they say so and go back to flying the match on their own judgement.
