Dominion Earth is a free space strategy MMO you play in a browser tab. You fly a single ship in real time — leading your shots, watching your heat, breaking off when your hull runs low — while a campaign for a star system goes on around you. Both halves are the game. Neither one is a menu.
What a match actually looks like
You launch from a base into a sector holding up to sixteen ships. Some are people. In an AI sector the rest are bot pilots, and the ones on your side take your orders. The scenario states its victory condition on screen from the first second, and it changes everything about how the map plays.
A kill-count match is a brawl and it is over in minutes. A base match sends you on strike runs under satellite fire. A planet capture is the slow one: carriers ferrying warriors to the surface while fighters try to keep the interceptors off them.
The part most space games do not have
Planets are not a single objective you shoot until it explodes. Every planet has nine ground sectors, and they are taken one at a time. A carrier loads warriors at its home world, runs them past the defences, and lands them on one sector. That sector becomes a ground base firing artillery at whoever comes next. The planet changes hands only when all nine are yours.
It means a planet can be half yours for a long time, and that a match has a front line rather than a scoreboard.
You are not alone even when nobody else is online
Every scenario runs as an AI sector where bot pilots fill both sides, so you never launch into an empty map. The bots on your side become your wing and take orders in plain language — typed into the comms panel or spoken aloud. You can send half the flight at the enemy ships and half at the planet, name a map reference off your own radar, or give a two-step order and let them get on with it.

A career that outlives the match
There are ten ranks a side, earned on points rather than kills, and a service record that tracks confirmed kills by target type, ground sectors taken, pilots recovered and hit percentage. Score is only banked when you dock, so a long run without landing is a real risk.
Getting in
It is free, there is nothing to install, and an account takes a moment with an email address, Google, Facebook, Discord or a passkey. It runs on a laptop and on a phone, and your controls and settings follow the account rather than the machine.
